Keeping Families Close

RMHC New York Metro gives families with a child who is sick exactly what they need most – each other.

For 38 years, RMHC New York Metro and our cornerstone program, Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park, have been creating communities of support to keep families together and near the medical care their ill or injured children need, when they need it most. Our care program operates in partnership with Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Stony Brook Children’s and includes two Family Rooms, a hospitality cart program, and a future House adjacent to Stony Brook Children’s, opening in 2026.
