Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro means more time together for families with sick children.
Time is that one thing we never seem to have enough of. It becomes all the more precious when you have a child who is very sick. We take care of some of the worries—where to stay, what to eat, and where to wash clothes—so that families can spend more time with each other. You can use your time to give families more time with their sick children.
Our volunteers help families focus on what is most important—the health and well-being of their children. The children and families we serve rely on the support of volunteers to make their days easier. We welcome volunteers to contribute to a variety of meaningful and important activities every day.
A simple application and interview will help us determine how we can best use your talents to support our families. Upon the completion of the foregoing, applicants are required to pass a criminal background check and provide a health statement from their physician.
All of our volunteers receive training about the mission of RMHC New York Metro and the programs we operate that serve children and families throughout the greater New York Metro area.
