Give a Family with a Sick Child What They Need the Most—Each Other

Faced with a child’s illness, a family’s life stops overnight. Uprooted from their lives, families travel hours for lifesaving treatments. Families without accommodation near the hospital endure long drives, lost jobs, worried siblings left at home and, for some, no place to sleep. They’re far from family and friends who give them support.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) New York Metro keeps families seeking medical treatment for their sick children near the care they need and the families they love.

Be a part of helping even more families stay close through the biggest challenge of their lives. Bring a sense of relief, provide support beyond a room to stay and help us create programs that respond to the unique health and wellness needs of the families we serve.

Through the generosity of donors like you, we are able to provide accommodations and programs to the families of sick children who need them most.

Together, we can do more.

FAMILY RESOURCES

Sometimes the best medicine of all is having family nearby for more hugs, kisses and “I love yous.” Our goal is to support you and your family, so you can focus on your child. Beyond a room to stay, we provide meals that nourish, spaces for you to relax and children to play and a community of caring volunteers to help you while you are away from home, family and friends.
